Foot Care Home Visit

This treatment includes nail trimming and thinning, corn and callus removal, problem nails sorted, verrucae treated, issues with pain and advice, fungal infection treatment and advice and finished with a fantastic foot cream application.
Home visits are available for those who are unable to attend a clinic appointment.

Prescription Orthotics
£120
Do you need help with fitted insoles? I can visit you at home and prescribe Orthotics that help you by correcting many common foot conditions such as Planter Faciitis, Arch Support, Mortons Neuroma and many more! The price includes a full foot assessment and the standard insole. (sometimes a Neuroma addition or double arch support will cost £7.50 extra) Please allow a maximum of 1 hour.
Nail Reconstruction
£35
Ashamed of your nails? Some people are ashamed of their toe nails if they have become discoloured from fungal infections, lost a nail or have a lumpy look from damage. I can make your nail look good as new with a builder gel. The reconstructed nail will fit exactly to the shape of your existing nail shape even if there is no nail left! It does not hurt and can last for weeks, you can also polish as normal.
Care and Nursing Homes
£26 per resident
I strongly believe that when a person moves into a care or nursing home they are moving from home to home so why should their foot care be any different?I have a team of 3 people and we all work together to continue to provide top foot care to your residents. Every resident that is seen won't just get a nail trim they will receive a lower limb check involving all types of foot care from thickened nails, corn removal, sanded heels or hard skin removal, ingrown nail care and removal and a lovely massage to finish the treatment. A small form will be left with you if the resident needs help between visits for things such as athletes foot or softener for problematic hard nails.

When it comes to the important matter of your well-being, you can be sure that I will do my best to treat your feet the best way possible! Strictly by appointment only.

My Background
After years of working in medical places, I realised that I wanted to help people and care for them myself. I have two children and started studying whilst I was pregnant with my second child. I started my carer as a Professional Foot Health Practitioner in 2006 and worked for the UK's largest Foot Care provider, this gave me valuable experience and enabled me to really gain my confidence and become a self employed professional. My children are Harvey age 19 and daughter Lana is age 16, my husband and I met when we were 18 and have been happily married for 24 years!

FAQs
Same-day appointment?
Usually my clinic is very busy but I always get unexpected cancellations so its definitely worth giving me a call!
Will my insurance cover my visit?
No, lots of Insurance companies won't accept Foot Health receipts.
Do I need to soak my feet before my appointment?
No, this is not necessary for the appointment but you are welcome to do so if you wish.
Do you charge a fee if I miss my appointment?
Yes, If I turn up at your property and you are not home and you didn't cancel your appointment there will be a £20 fee. I have only recently had to start charging as it was happening too often and as I have a waiting list it delays appointments for other people.
Will I be charged if I cancel my appointment?
Not if you give me notice of approx 24 hours, if its less time and I fill your slot then you will not be charged. If you cancel on the day of your appointment and I am unable to fill your slot the usual fee applies.
What payments do you take?

Does it hurt?
It depends on what treatment you are having done, a painful ingrown nail will be painful before we even start but very quickly the pain will ease when the problem nail is removed.
